SEP 1928) The marriage of
Miss Edna Laack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Laack of the town of
Mayville, Clark County, Wis., to Mr. Melvin J. Tennis, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Joseph Tennis of Unity, was solemnized last Saturday,
Sept. 22nd, 1928, at the St. Louis Catholic Parsonage here, Rev.
Paul Pitzenberger officiating, with Miss Elizabeth Archambo and Mr.
Arnold Laack as attendants. The bride wore a
dainty gown of robin egg blue georgette trimmed with gold metal
lace and a wreath of silver satin and rhinestone. The bridesmaid
wore a frock of maroon glace satin crepe and a rhinestone
headband. A reception was
held at the home of the bride’s parents to immediate
relatives and on Tuesday evening a free wedding dance was held at
Wiedenhoft’s park at Colby. The young couple
will make their home in Unity where the groom is employed as
bookkeeper at the Unity State Bank. We join the host
of friends in extending congratulations and wish them many years of
